| IAC Automotive Choose Maxim For PDT Application |

IAC Automotive Group has taken receipt of 2 x HandHeld Dolphin 7600 Portable Data Terminals for barcode matching of completed product stillages (Odette labels) and stillage labels. The system Maxim developed looked at the Odette Shipping Labels unique barcode and matched it to the individual stillage barcode. This application prevents the incorrect product being shipped in the wrong stillage for delivery directly to a "Sequence Build" production line. The stillage contains automotive trim products for a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK. Maxim developed a Visual Basic application which interfaces with IAC's ERP system via batch down load. |
